The foggy air in the Skunked Skink would have made a seasoned chain smoker gag and his eyes water. But to Longus it was as close to home as he was ever going to be again as e sat at the bar drinking. Quazky sat by him in one of the few times he could get a break and just hang out with his brother.
Quazy and Longus were talking and joking around, as brothers would when Quazky stopped looking at someone behind Longus with a look of longing and a love that could never be expressed in public. That could only mean that Gracelis had come in.
Longus sighed as he heard Gracelis talking to someone, laughing. He had no problem with her, and ev

Don sighed and turned over in his bed..and noticed a shadow beside the usual Star of David grace his bed and floor. For a moment he felt joy and tried to sit up in his bed, hissing as another splitting headache coursed through his skull. Despite this, he tried to look past the suddenly bright sunlight to the brown haired man sitting on the fire escape, looking in with a concern in his yellow and red eyes.Quickly as he could he undid the latch o his window and Longus crawled in, the smell of metal and his cologne filling the room.
"he-hey Longus", Don managed to say before a round of body shaking coughs erupted. He groaned as he
Late morning sunlight poured thought the bars on the apartment bedroom window, leaving a golden trail across claw-marked walls to the large bed where Longus had been awake for an hour or so, completely lost in his memories of the night before.
He still couldn't believe it had happened, but the sleeping young man curled up beside him told him it had. once again he found himself smiling at him pulled up the pea-green covers over his bare shoulders. it was a good thing it was Sunday, longus didn't want to wake up his lover. then again, he probably wouldn't have anyway. he couldn't remember when he last felt so much as peace. well... almos

Longus closed the door behind him and slid the latch. As he shrugged out of his jacket, he looked over at the bed and the concentrating Don who was sitting cross-legged on top of the rumpled covers.

He glanced towards the small TV at the sound of an awkward death-gurgle.

"...Why does this guy scream like an eagle when he jumps off of something?"
Startled, Don jerked slightly, then smiled up at his disguised reptoid roommate. "I don't think he's actually making the noise. It'd be kinda stupid, considering assassins are supposed to be quiet."
"I du
They cascaded through the starlit sky.
Red emotionless eyes stared into wide green ones as they tumbled.
Cold, pale, feminine hands met a warm, blushing, masculine face.
Lips met lips.
Green eyes closed and red eyes remained open.
As if they were the traffic light of the galaxy, red eyes closed and green eyes opened.
Masculine hands moved to feminine curves.
They continued their descent.
The stars became a blur.
Both green and red opened to look toward the nearby Earth.
Will you stay?
Green gazed into red.
Red stared into green.
The pair's tumbling came to an end.
They pushed away from one another as gently as could be.

Laying down in bed
Pillow underneath your head
Going softly into your sleep
Vulnerbale, took away
Something came from outer space
And the feeling's starting to creep
Who are these strange looking men
There's one who's kind of human
Wake up, next day
And the feeling's gone away
Making you think you're out of your head
And when you're trying human
It seems like they're against you
Up above down below
Doesn't matter where you go
Everything will always re-arrange
And if you're being taken
Just know that you're in good hands
Someone there, up above
Makes you feel you're in love
And the feeling will never change
Quiet night, in
My dreams made no more sense than what had preceded them. Almost everything was an indistinct blur. Only faces and sounds registered as something I recognized. The face of the reptile-man flashed once or twice. The frightened expression of his victim trailed after. Crux's face was always paired with the sound of his angry voice and the sickening crack of his pistol colliding with my head. But only the visage of the grey-skinned man, the one called 6, dominated my dreams. Safety and gentleness swirled around the memory. Such a mixture of anxiety and calm shook me awake.
I opened my eyes and everything was a fuzzy grey. I then realize
"Of course I'll wear it," Longus said.
Don's eyebrow quirked upward. "Oh. Good then."
Don had every reason to expect a fight. There had been a week of pleading, cajoling, screaming, and even tears before Longus had agreed to go to dinner in the first place. The tears had done it, like always.
That had led them to where they were now, in Longus's apartment. Longus sat on the bed, his Trying Human circuit in place on the lapel of his suit jacket.
"Is there going to be anything I can eat there?"
"Besides my parents? I hope so. Give me your sleeve, it's unbuttoned."
Longus extended his arm, letting Don fix the cuff of his shirt. "Don't worr
